Hi everyone,
I want to use OBS to record my gaming sessions on the Nintendo Switch 2. My capture card is an Elgato 4K X.
In the preview—and therefore in the recordings as well—the quality is always low; the edges are always jagged and blurry. You can see this very clearly by looking at the red circle on the console’s home screen, where the “Nintendo Switch Online” button is located. The circle isn’t round—you can clearly see the pixels.
Here are my system specs; if you need more details, let me know.
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
- RAM: 32 GB 3600 MHz
- OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Recordings:
Input resolution: 1080p 60 fps
Output resolution: 1080p 60 fps.
I’m attaching the log from my last OBS session and a screenshot so you can see what I’m talking about.
