I have relatively recently switched to linux from Windows, and I've started streaming on twitch. There are a few plugins that I need for my stream to function as it did when I was on Windows, but the plugins I need are not on flatpak. All external plugins state to put the plugin folder in an /obs-plugins/ or /obs-studio/plugins/ folder in the obs application, but that folder does not exist by default and does not function at all when manually added. I just want to know whether I'm gonna need to manually build obs and learn how that works in order to install these plugins or whether there is another workaround that is more easily available.
the plugin in question is obs-image-reaction, but I imagine I'll need similar support for any sort of discord fugi interaction as well as any other plugins I might find I need
by default the only folders I can find in regards to plugins are plugin_config and plugin_manager, in .config/
